Covidien Standard EDGE Coated Electrodes E1450X
The Standard EDGE Coated Electrode E1450X is a sterile, single-use blade electrode designed for electrosurgery. It has a hex-locking shaft that fits most Valleylab electrosurgical pencils. The electrode’s special EDGE coating helps deliver precise cutting at lower power settings with easy cleaning.
The E1450X EDGE Coated Blade Electrode is engineered for high-performance cutting and coagulation across a variety of tissue types. Its proprietary elastomeric coating concentrates current at the edge, improving efficiency and reducing sticking compared to standard stainless electrodes. The coating is durable and allows the electrode to be bent without flaking or damage. In surgical practice, this means fewer interruptions — you can simply wipe the electrode clean with a moist sponge instead of scraping it.
