Conmed TractionTower 9905A
The TractionTower 9905A is an extremity traction device designed for securing and distracting the hand, wrist or forearm during surgical and arthroscopic procedures. It offers a stand‑alone design that does not require fixation to an operating table. The system includes straps for wrist, forearm and upper arm, and supports both dorsal and volar approaches.
This device provides precise traction maintenance via a built‑in tension scale, helping the surgeon maintain optimal distraction during the procedure. An adjustable ball joint allows controlled flexion/extension of the wrist as well as radial or ulnar deviation, enabling better positioning of the extremity. It also features an X‑ray cassette bracket to accommodate intra‑operative imaging without repositioning the patient. The modular design allows disassembly between cases for cleaning and sterilization, improving workflow and operating room efficiency.
