The Aesculap Tamper-Evident Lock US900 is a blue single-use security seal designed for use with Aesculap SterilContainer systems. It provides a visual locking mechanism to ensure the container remains closed until the point-of-use. Supplied in a pack of 1,000 locks to support high-volume sterile processing cycles.
This tamper-evident lock is engineered to integrate with the Aesculap SterilContainer system to provide secure closure and visual assurance of container integrity after sterilization. The blue lock (US900) does not include a colour-changing indicator, and is used when a simple assurance of closure is required rather than a chemical change indicator. According to the Instructions for Use, the lock is inserted into the locking channel on each end of the container lid, engaged until the “click” is heard or felt, and then cannot be reopened without visible destruction of the seal.The packaging supports 1,000 pieces per box for efficient supply in sterile processing departments.
