MultiBic 2 mmol/L Kalium LC15 is a ready-to-use, bicarbonate-buffered dialysis solution supplied in a dual-chamber 5 L bag. It contains 2 mmol/L potassium, 140 mmol/L sodium, and balanced electrolytes for CRRT and hemodialysis. The aseptic solution is suitable for continuous renal replacement therapies in adults.
This two-compartment bag mixes bicarbonate and an acidic electrolyte-glucose solution to produce a stable, clear fluid with physiological pH (~7.4) and osmolarity (~296 mOsm/L). It provides controlled potassium (2 mmol/L), calcium, magnesium, chloride, and glucose concentrations to meet precise therapy needs . The PVC- and DEHP-free bag design allows medication to be added during infusion and remains usable up to 48 hours post-mixing. Suitable for continuous hemofiltration and hemodialysis, it supports adult patients requiring mild potassium dosing.
