MultiBic Potassium‑Free LC15 is a ready-to-use, acetate-free dialysis solution supplied in a two-compartment 5 L bag. It contains no potassium, making it ideal for patients requiring potassium-free therapy. The solution is designed for haemodialysis, haemofiltration, and haemodiafiltration in adults.
Formulated by Fresenius, this electrolyte solution combines a bicarbonate component with a glucose–electrolyte mix to ensure balanced pH (≈ 7.4) and osmolarity (~292 mOsm/L) during treatment. After mixing, it delivers 140 mmol/L sodium, 1.5 mmol/L calcium, 0.5 mmol/L magnesium, and 5.55 mmol/L glucose with no potassium . The lack of potassium makes it suitable for patients with hyperkalaemia or those undergoing potassium removal. The solution is used in CRRT and acute or chronic haemodialysis to support safe fluid and solute removal.
