Fresenius Puristeril 340 5085621
Fresenius Puristeril 340 is a peracetic acid–based disinfectant for cold sterilization of dialysis machines and related equipment. It is effective against bacteria, fungi, spores, and viruses including HBV, HCV, and HIV. The liquid decomposes into non-toxic components after use and removes scale buildup.
This disinfectant uses low-concentration peracetic acid combined with hydrogen peroxide to achieve broad-spectrum microbiocidal efficacy within short exposure times. It facilitates simultaneous disinfection and decalcification of machine hydraulics and pipelines at ambient temperature, enhancing maintenance efficiency. Residual Puristeril decomposes into harmless by-products—oxygen, acetic acid, and water—ensuring patient safety. The solution remains effective for up to 18 months if stored properly, supporting reliable supply management.
