The Fresenius PlasmaFlux P2 Dry is a steam-sterilized, single-use polysulfone plasma filter used for therapeutic plasma exchange during apheresis. It features a dry-packed design, allowing direct installation with no rinsing required. The filter retains blood cells while permitting passage of large plasma proteins.
This P2 Dry filter offers an advanced double-layer polysulfone membrane that supports efficient removal of high–molecular-weight substances, up to 2 million Da. Its dry-packed format simplifies setup, reducing contamination risk and eliminating the need for pre-wetting. Designed to maintain low transmembrane pressure, it supports stable blood flow in the range of 80–250 mL/min. With a blood fill volume of about 70 mL and a maximum TMP of 100 mmHg, it ensures safe and effective plasma separation.
