The GENESYS Matryx 6.5 × 30.0 mm Interference Screw is an orthopaedic implant used in ligament reconstruction surgeries. It helps fix grafts (such as ACL or PCL grafts) inside bone tunnels. The screw is made of a biocomposite material that supports bone in-growth while gradually resorbing.
This interference screw offers strong initial fixation during the early healing period, and then gradually allows bone to remodel into its structure. It is made from a blend of micro-tricalcium phosphate (microTCP) and PLA (96L/4D), providing both mechanical support and biologic compatibility. The design promotes secure graft anchoring while reducing long-term foreign body presence as bone replaces the device. It is suitable for both soft tissue and bone-tendon grafts in knee ligament surgery.
