The Zero Tip™ Basket is a sterile, single-use, 3.0 F sheath nitinol stone retrieval device with a 16 mm cage diameter and 120 cm working length. It features a tipless (“zero-tip”) design for atraumatic stone capture and a multi-layer composite sheath for strength and flexibility. Designed for efficient retrieval in the kidney and ureter using flexible ureteroscopes.
This four-wire nitinol basket maintains its shape even with full scope deflection, allowing reliable performance in challenging anatomy. The flat distal surface enables close proximity to stones without trauma, while the knotted tip prevents wire migration. Its composite sheath enhances irrigation flow—3.0 F sheath in a 3.6 F scope channel offers approximately 25–41% more irrigation than standard sheaths. The tipless design allows precise stone engagement and atraumatic handling during ureteroscopy.
