The Ultraflex Covered Tracheobronchial Stent is a sterile, single-use, partially covered nitinol airway stent with a 14 mm expanded diameter and 60 mm length. It features an extended silicone-covered midsection (45 mm) to resist tumor ingrowth, combined with uncovered ends for tissue integration. Delivered via a flexible distal-release catheter over a 0.035″ Jagwire.
This self-expanding knitted nitinol stent exerts gentle radial force to maintain airway patency while its uncovered ends promote mucociliary clearance. The 45 mm silicone midsection prevents tumor ingrowth, improving long-term lumen integrity. The distal-release mechanism and radiopaque markers facilitate precise fluoroscopic placement through flexible or rigid bronchoscopy. Delivered on a low-profile 95 cm catheter, it is compatible with a 0.035″ pulmonary Jagwire.
