It features a low-profile proximal-release delivery catheter with radiopaque markers and a 95 cm working length. Designed for deployment via flexible or rigid bronchoscopy to relieve malignant tracheobronchial strictures.
Constructed from self-expanding knitted nitinol, this stent conforms to airway anatomy, delivering gentle radial force to maintain lumen patency and resist kinking. The proximal-release mechanism enables controlled deployment from the proximal end for accurate placement. Its open-loop, uncovered ends encourage epithelization and mucociliary clearance to reduce migration risk. Compatible with a 0.035″ Jagwire pulmonary guidewire, it includes radiopaque markers for precise fluoroscopic visualization and is MRI‑conditional when guided under labeled protocols.
