The Ultraflex Tracheobronchial Stent is a sterile, single-use, uncovered nitinol stent with a 12 mm expanded diameter and 40 mm length. It features a low-profile, proximal-release delivery catheter with radiopaque markers and a working length of 95 cm. Designed for deployment under flexible or rigid bronchoscopy to treat malignant airway strictures.
This self-expanding knitted nitinol stent conforms to airway anatomy, exerting gentle radial force to maintain patency and resist collapse. The proximal-release mechanism allows controlled deployment starting at the proximal end for precise positioning. Uncovered ends promote mucociliary clearance through epithelization and reduce migration risk. It is MRI-conditional and compatible with a 0.035″ Jagwire pulmonary guidewire for placement via bronchoscopy.
