Boston Scientific CRE Single-Use Pulmonary Balloon Dilatation Catheter M00550320
This CRE Pulmonary Balloon Dilatation Catheter is a sterile, single-use device with a 5.5 cm balloon that expands in three stages: 18 mm, 19 mm, and 20 mm. It’s intended for controlled dilation of airway strictures via bronchoscope using a 0.035″ guidewire. The catheter fits through standard 2.8 mm working channels for bronchoscopic procedures.
The three-in-one balloon design allows gradual stepwise dilation to reduce trauma and prevent waist formation within strictures. The rectilinear shoulder and high radial vector force maintain luminal patency while preserving visualization under bronchoscopic guidance. Radiopaque markers aid accurate balloon placement under fluoroscopy, and the device supports rapid inflation/deflation with the Alliance II Inflation System. Ideal for medium-length (5.5 cm) bronchial or tracheal strictures, this single-use catheter enables efficient airway treatment.
