Boston Scientific CRE Single-Use Pulmonary Balloon Dilatation Catheter M00550310
The CRE Pulmonary Balloon Dilatation Catheter is a sterile, single-use device featuring a 5.5 cm long balloon that inflates sequentially to 15 mm (3 atm), 16.5 mm (4.5 atm), and 18 mm (7 atm). It is designed for airway stricture dilation via bronchoscope and is compatible with 0.035″ Jagwire Pulmonary guidewires. Requires a working channel of ≥ 2.8 mm.
This catheter uses three-in-one inflation technology to enable gradual and controlled enlargement of airway stenosis, reducing procedural trauma and avoiding balloon waist formation. Its rectilinear shoulder design and high radial vector force improve lumen patency and bronchoscopic visibility. Radiopaque markers support precise fluoroscopic positioning, and its rapid inflation/deflation compatibility with the Alliance II system enhances procedural efficiency. Ideal for treating medium-length (5.5 cm) bronchial or tracheal strictures in a single device.
